Classic

Rules

One price list and one scoring system. Classic means anyone can own the same player. Draft leagues, with exclusive ownership and no budget, are described on How to play.

Season

The season is the calendar year, split into Monday–Sunday gameweeks. Every event that finishes inside the window counts. A blank week scores 0, and you still get the free transfer.

The lineup, captain, and transfers lock one hour before the first scored match of that gameweek. The clock uses the fixture list across PPA, APP pro, RTA, MLP, MLPA, NPL, and regional events. A published event that this league does not score, such as the Nations Cup, does not move the lock. If the week has no published start time, the lock is Monday 6:00pm UK. After the lock, that gameweek is frozen and later edits apply to the following week. Points still use the lineup that was locked for the week being scored.

GW42, 12–18 October 2026, locks on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 2:00pm UK (9:00am US Eastern). That is one hour before the Virginia Beach Open pro round of 32 at 10:00am US Eastern. The WALKER Australia Pickleball Cup starts the same Wednesday in Brisbane, and its pro main draw is not earlier. Monday 12 October at Virginia Beach is amateur and junior play, so it does not move the lock.

Squad

  • Eight players, $1,000,000. No singles, doubles, or mixed slots.
  • Start five. The other three score nothing.
  • One captain, chosen from the five. Their gameweek points double.
  • One free transfer each week. Each extra transfer costs 4 points.
  • The first squad you save is free. Changes after that are transfers.
  • Prices do not move. Selling a player returns their listed price. Floor is $1,000.

Round reached

You score the best round reached, not every round along the way. A first-round exit in a 32-draw is 0. Smaller draws start at the round they actually play. RTA is double elimination: only the furthest round counts.

Tour multiplier

Applied after the round points and the took-a-game bonus. Two events in the same week both count. Doubles and mixed: both partners get the full score.

WPC is out. APP amateur brackets are out. PPA, APP pro, APP Asia, PPA Europe, PPA Australia, PPA Canada, other published pro events, MLP, RTA, and regional events are in. A tour is scored only when a public match feed can be read.

Took a game

A bonus, not a multiplier. It is added to the round points before the tour multiplier, once for each match.

What happenedBonus
Lost in straight games0
Lost, but won a game2
Lost to someone priced 20%+ higher, and won a game4
Won, and the opponent was priced 20%+ higher3

In doubles, the comparison uses the higher-priced opponent.

MLP

MLP is the individual games a player actually plays. A win is worth a round of 16, which is 4 points, then the ×2 multiplier, so 8. A loss is 0, plus the took-a-game bonus, which is still applied before the multiplier. These games are not scored as a title. The team-title bonus amount is not decided, so it is not scored. ahm NPL, the Australian National Pickleball League, uses the same game scoring with the regional ×0.5 multiplier, so a win is 2. Only finished Pro League games that name the players are scored. Division 2 and grassroots stay out.

Sample data

The loaded draws — PPA Cincinnati, APP Austin, RTA Madrid, MLP New York, Regional Mesa, and the previous week in Dallas and Orlando — are a sample slate built from the real price list. They are not a live results feed. Upcoming PPA Mesa matches are sample fixtures too. Score them from the gameweek page to post points. Live results, when pulled, are listed on their own and are not added to the sample slate.
