Two ways to play

How to play

Classic and draft use the same player scores. A gameweek point is the best round reached, times the tour multiplier, plus any took-a-game bonus. The bench scores 0. In classic, the captain doubles. In draft, each of the five starters counts once and there is no captain. The scoring rules spell that out.

Classic

Anyone can own the same player. Pick eight players within the squad budget, start five, and name a captain from those five.

  • One free transfer each week. Each extra transfer costs 4 points.
  • The lineup, captain, and transfers lock one hour before the first scored match of that gameweek.
  • If no start time is published, the lock is Monday 6:00pm UK.
  • After the lock, edits apply to the following week. Points still use the lineup that was locked.
  • The global league and any private classic league rank by total points.

Draft

A draft league is exclusive. Each player belongs to one team in that league, and there is no budget. The first draft beta is built for 10 managers and starts counting points on Monday 1 November 2026. You can open a league before then and set your own draft time.

  • The creator picks Draft, gets a code, and shares the league link. Ten managers is the default cap.
  • The creator sets the draft date and time, randomises the order, and locks it.
  • The room is a snake: the order flips every round until each team has eight players.
  • Each pick has a 90 second timer. If it expires, the next player on your queue is taken. An empty queue uses season points.
  • The board, the available list, your queue, and the pick feed update every few seconds.
  • Start five of the eight. There is no captain, and those five count once. The weekly lock is the same clock as classic.

Waivers and free agency

After the draft, you change your eight through waivers. Trades between managers are not open yet.

  • File claims during the week. They run 24 hours before that gameweek’s lineup lock.
  • The worst total picks first. A tie goes to the manager who drafted later.
  • After that run, unowned players are free agents until the lock, first come first served.
  • A player you drop is not free immediately. They sit on waivers until the next run.

Standings

Draft leagues rank by total points from the gameweek of 1 November 2026 onward. Head-to-head fixtures are not in this version. Classic standings are unchanged, including the beta league that opened on 5 October.
